As part of this training, BPI standards and work practices will be reviewed. Attendees will look at common problem areas during the course of an energy audit and prepare a workscope to remedy these issues. Topics addressed will include typical manufactured home construction, heating system basics, distribution system evaluation and repairs, belly repair, air sealing and insulation best practices. Because of the large amount of BPI building analyst curriculum incorporated into this training, it is strongly recommended that attendees hold BPI Building Analyst certification and have a good working knowledge of auditing procedures.
