2006 Weatherization Assistance Program
 Briefing Book

The Department of Energy has created a comprehensive Weatherization Assistance Program Briefing Book. Each State has received one copy of the book. Below are the links to view and print sections of the book.   This information is posted on WapTac's website but we have posted here for your convince. 

Portions of this book could be printed and used at the local level for presentations to your local press, used for Weatherization Day presentations, or as information for your board members etc.

1. Program Overview This section provides an Executive Summary of the Weatherization Assistance Program, as well as a Legislative and Regulatory Timeline since the Program's inception.
2. Program Funding This section includes information on funding, state start and end dates, state allocations, how the allocation formula works, as well as the 1995 Federal Register 10 CFR Part 440 ruling.
