On June 24, 2003 the New York State Weatherization Directors’ Association (NYSWDA) will be holding their annual elections.  These elections will be taking place at the NYSCAA/NYSWDA/FDANYS professional development conference in Alexandria Bay, New York.  NYSWDA is looking for dedicated individuals who can take a leadership role in assisting NYSWDA carry out their mission and work plan in order to benefit the Weatherization network.

There are three positions that will be up for re-election on the NYSWDA Board, they are as follows:

² Treasurer

²  NYSCAA Liaison

All terms are two years. Board members responsibilities include: ensuring that important board decisions regarding the association would be handled with sound and objective judgment; maintaining a high level of commitment to the association; attending and participating in board meetings and association functions on a regular basis, in order to reflect a positive profile for the Association.
