- CAZ zone will include operable downflow furnace, water heater and
clothes dryer.
- CAZ zone will include damper into crawl space to enable pressure
diferencial
- A quite fan will be installed in the crawl space and ducted to the CAZ
zone to depressurize without blower door
- Kneel wall in upstairs bedroom will have an access hatch cut into it.
- Knee wall attic will be floored
- Supply and return ducts to each room
- Dampers in each supply duct to create various zonal pressure
differentials
- Return duct will include a damper to outdoors to simulate leakage to
outdoors
- Return air to pass through panned floor joists.
- First floor height (main living, entrance and CAZ) is 7'.
- Second floor bedroom height is 5.5' due to 13' ceiling height in our
lab.

- Plumbing access holes cut through the floor into crawl space and
garage.
- Attached garage under living space.
- Toe kick supply register under kitchen cabinet
- Soffit over kitchen cabinet to include range hood.
- Bathroom fan installed
- Recessed lighting in soffit and living room ceiling (accessible
through attic)
- Plexiglass panel in living room wall to show fireblock, electrical
wiring and various types of insulation.
- Electrical sub-panel located in first floor bedroom.
- Pull down stairs installed into attic from living room.
- Fireplace and associated flue in living room. Heat generated by
electric bulb to simulate draft.
- Drop ceiling in first floor bed room with bypasses located above the
ceiling.

- Crawl space accessed through garage.
- Ceiling height in Kitchen and first floor bedroom is 9' to accommodate
stairs going to second floor bedroom..
- Drop ceiling in bedroom.
- Passage door into bathroom could be pocket door.

- Balloon framed in an outside wall and the bathroom interior wall.
- Flue to be boxed in and connected to the building vent system.
- Dampers to be installed in various locations in the framing to
simulate communication to the outdoors and crawl space.

- Entrance porch overhang to include damper to communicate with the
exterior wall.
- Building entrance and CAZ module is 8' wide by 12' long.
- Main living space module is 8' wide by 24' long. These
dimensions were dictated by the space available in our lab where this
pressure house is to be constructed. Ceiling height in the lab is
13'
- Exterior door in the living space will have a blower door installed,
so steps will not be installed.

- 16' wide on this side. Each module 8' wide
- Controls for automated dampers will likely be mounted on this side of
the building.

- Back of pressure house will be built next to the existing lab wall and
not accessible.
- Back of building is 24' long

- Windows will be long to enable individuals to look in from the
outside.
