Introduction

NYSWDA staff worked with the Community Environmental Center, Association for Energy Affordability and NYSERDA again this year to collaborate on a statewide purchasing effort for the 2006/07-program year.   

The GOALS of this collaborative effort are:

1 - To prevent duplicative efforts among the three entities in the bulk purchase bids for Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) & NYSERDA Programs

2  - To capture potentially lower bid prices due to the greater, combined volume represented by NYSERDA & WAP Programs. 

The bid results were organized by region with low bidder identified for each product.  Products included were: cellulose, caulk, weatherstripping, mobile home furnaces, mobile home doors/windows, showerheads, faucet aerators, foam, smoke and co detectors, duct sealant, air conditioner covers, lighting and appliances.
