Our NYSWDA training staff recently delivered a memorable one week hands-on Weatherization Bootcamp to 22 trainees. Everyone had a great experience learning the latest weatherization skills in a realistic environment and left ready to apply the newest of energy efficiency techniques within their own agencies. I invite all to come on out and hone your skills at our newest training facility.
Our first Weatherization Bootcamp in Syracuse, NY was a huge success. A mix of classroom and hands-on training included Health and Safety, Lead Safe Weatherization (LSW), air-sealing and insulating techniques, blower door setup and use, intro to infrared, multiple siding removal methods, sidewall drilling, insulation densepacking practice, and duct sealing.
