experienced auditors, inspectors, home performance, and HVAC contractors.
Attendees will learn the basic skills necessary to test and determine total
duct leakage, leakage to the outside, and general duct distribution effici
ency. \n\nThis is a must have course for auditors and post inspectors prepa
ring to test out in the new NREL/BPI Energy Auditor and Quality Control Ins
pector certifications as duct blasting is a prominent part of the field tes
t requirements for these new certifications. \n\nThis course will cover:\n\
n - Duct blaster set up and DG700 configuration for testing residential dis
tribution systems\n - Initial preparation of house and distribution system
for testing.\n - Static pressure and flow testing\n - Total duct leakage te
sting\n - Duct leakage to the outside testing using a blower door and duct
