This 3 hour training is for those who have already certified and h
old a Limited Certification for the NYS Manufactured Housing Mechanics Cert
ification.
Mechanics certification is valid for 2 years - and t
he renewal process required by the Dept. of State is to complete their cont
inuing education and the renewal application process prior to expiration of
their certificates.
If your business or agency conducts struct
ural repairs on mobile homes or manufactured housing to stay in compliance
with NY State Code Enforcement requirements, you will need at least one sta
ff member with this certification.
Structural repairs include r
eplacement of door/window framing, replacement of subfloor plywood, or repl
acement of interior wall and ceiling panels. This staff member must be on-s
ite during these repairs. Individual certification is valid for two years.

- 2:30pm (half hour lunch break from 12:00-12:30) lunch is not included
