Course
Description;
This is an introductory course that wil
l teach fundamentals of heating systems and venting combustion appliances.
The focus is to provide all personnel working in client homes, the knowledg
e to identify different classifications of furnaces and boilers. Instructio
n on health and safety issues for those working on venting systems and an e
xplanation of which materials can be used and which cannot. NFPA venting gu
idelines will be introduced so that venting safety is built into the though
t process. This training will assist technicians in identifying problems, r
epairing and analysis of venting systems in the field.
