This 3 hour training is for those who have already certified and hold a L
imited Certification for the NYS Manufactured Housing Mechanics Certificati
on.
Mechanics certification is valid for 2 years - and the rene
wal process required by the Dept. of State is to complete their continuing
education and the renewal application process prior to expiration of their
certificates.
If your business or agency conducts structural re
pairs on mobile homes or manufactured housing to stay in compliance with NY
State Code Enforcement requirements, you will need at least one staff memb
er with this certification.
Structural repairs include replacem
ent of door/window framing, replacement of subfloor plywood, or replacement
of interior wall and ceiling panels. This staff member must be on-site dur
ing these repairs. Individual certification is valid for two years.
