Course Description:
This 3 hour training is for those
who have already certified and hold a Limited Certification for the NYS Ma
nufactured Housing Mechanics Certification.
Mechanics certifica
tion is valid for 2 years - and the renewal process required by the Dept. o
f State is to complete their continuing education and the renewal applicati
on process prior to expiration of their certificates.
If your b
usiness or agency conducts structural repairs on mobile homes or manufactur
ed housing to stay in compliance with NY State Code Enforcement requirement
s, you will need at least one staff member with this certification.

br />Structural repairs include replacement of door/window framing, replace
ment of subfloor plywood, or replacement of interior wall and ceiling panel
s. This staff member must be on-site during these repairs. Individual certi
fication is valid for two years.

November 18, 2019 / 11:00am - 2:30pm (half hour lunch break from
12:00-12:30) lunch is not included
Prerequisites:
Must have completed the initial NYS MH M
echanics Certification training and also hold a Limited Certification.
