Co
urse Description:
This four day course will prepare you to take the BPI Manufactured H
ousing Specialist Certification written and field tests. As part of this tr
aining, BPI standards and work practices will be reviewed. Attendees will l
ook at common problem areas during the course of an energy audit and prepar
e a workscope to remedy these issues. Topics addressed will include typical
manufactured home construction, heating system basics, distribution system
evaluation and repairs, belly repair, air sealing and insulation best prac
tices. Because of the large amount of BPI building analyst curriculum incor
porated into this training, it is strongly recommended that attendees hold
BPI Building Analyst certification and have a good working knowledge of aud
iting procedures. After the trainees suc
cessfully complete the written portion of the test, we will schedule them f
or the Field test.
