 Y region is still in Phase Two, you will not be allowed to attend training 
 until your region attains Phase Three status.  Trainees from other states w
 ill need to provide documentation that shows their respective regions have 
 been cleared for training.\n\nAs part of the COVID-19 state and federal pro
 tocols, NYSWDA has developed a Safety Plan to ensure the safety of you and 
 your staff.  Below are listed the measures being taken to secure the safety
  of your staff as well as ours.\n\nPlease read and follow NYSWDA Re-Opening

Course Description;\nThis intensiv
 e 4-day training based at NYSWDA's Energy Efficiency Training Center (Build
 ing 2) in East Syracuse, is a great introduction to building science princi
 ples and hands-on air sealing, dense pack and loose fill cellulose insulati
 on installation. Using our state-of-the-art realistic wall, ceiling and att
 ic props, trainees will learn the techniques needed to effectively weatheri
 ze our clients' homes.\n

During this course, the trainees will be intro
 duced to both HCR and BPI standards and regulations on Health &amp; Safety,
  Lead Safe work practices and safe and proper use of tools and equipment. T
 rainees will also become proficient on the set up of blower doors and under
 stand basic use of an infrared camera during air sealing operations.\n

 All three HCR mandatory trainings are covered in this course: \n

Air Seali
 ng - mandatory for WX directors, energy auditors, post inspectors, crew chi
 efs and crew personnel
Health &amp; Safety - mandatory for WX directors, en
 ergy auditors, post inspectors, crew chiefs and heating technicians

 t with lead based paint while performing their duties\n

  trainings are mandatory for the positions stated. If a subgrantee hires a 
 new employee into one of these postions, or a current employee transfers in
 to one of these positions, it is mandatory that they receive this training
