This four day cour
se will prepare you to take the BPI Manufactured Housing Specialist Ce
rtification written and field tests. As part of this training, BPI standard
s and work practices will be reviewed. Attendees will look at common proble
m areas during the course of an energy audit and prepare a workscope to rem
edy these issues. Topics addressed will include typical manufactured home c
onstruction, heating system basics, distribution system evaluation and repa
irs, belly repair, air sealing and insulation best practices. Because of th
e large amount of BPI building analyst curriculum incorporated into this tr
aining, it is strongly recommended that attendees hold BPI Building Analyst
certification and have a good working knowledge of auditing procedures. A<
span style="font-family: Tahoma;">fter the trainees successfully complete t
he written portion of the test, we will schedule them for the Field test.
