  the program.  This short course will discuss program goals, workscope opti
 ons, and roadblocks to look for as you select clients and homes to move int
 o your ARPA schedule.\n

  and Estimating\n
Leaking roofs are a major source of deferral in the Weath
 erization Assistance Program. Now, with funding made available through the 
 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) local agencies will have the ability to rep
 air and replace residential roofing. This short course will introduce local
  programs to the various components of a roof, typical roofing materials, a
 nd specifics on what to look for when writing a scope of work to address th
 e roof. The course will also instruct students on how to properly measure a
  roof and discuss potential issues they may run into. A sample specificatio
 n and bid sheet will be provided.\n
