Training Location:  CEO for the Greater Capital Region - 2347 Fifth Avenue, Troy, NY  12180

This training is for;
Crew Chiefs and crew men, insulation contractors and anyone interested in maintaining their machines

Course Description;
A well-maintained insulating macihne will increase production with less downtime for our crews due to machine breakdowns.  This hands-on technical training will teach your crew chiefs/crewmen how to maintain and repair their insulation machines and keep them in top operating condition.

This training provides the attendees an opportunity to perform repairs and maintenance on their machine after the machine has been evaluated by the trainer.  After registration, it is essential to send a follow-up email to Matt Redmond at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to give him the make and model of the machine they will be working on.  That way, we can have a maintenance manual specific to each model machine along with the tools and parts necessary to work on it.

NYSWDA's experienced trainer will mentor attendees on the specific repairs and maintenance required for their machines.  Parts will be available for Krendl, Force 2 and Accu 1 machines.  Parts will be charged to attendees' organizations at cost after diagnosis and repairs have been made.

Why is this training needed?

  • You can't deliver the material that you need to if the machine has not been maintained properly.  If your machine is puffing back through the hopper, the paddles are shot and you are not working at capacity.
  • If the machine is not dialed in properly, you will not deliver the pounds per cubic that you should and this will impact the time you spend insulating as well as your air reduction.
  • Since you will be working on your own machines, you will be walking away from the training with improved performance on equipment that your crews use regularly.

Agenda;

  • A short (less than an hour) PowerPoint presentation on basic machine maintenance
  • Diagnostics and repair of attendees machines (cost of parts additional)
  • Course wrap-up and Q&A
