BPI Building Analyst Technician (BA-T)

Training Location: NYSWDA Training Center (Building 1) – 5869 Fisher Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057

Course Description:

This four-day course will teach students to use the “whole house” performance-based approach to building diagnostics. This course will expand on the concepts covered by the prerequisite Building Science Principles certificate by providing students with classroom training and hands-on experience in NYSWDA’s state-of-the-art Pressure Houses.

Upon course completion, the students will schedule and complete a field exam to prove their competency in the necessary skills and knowledge to become Building Analyst Technicians.  There is no written exam requirement for BA-T certification, students will receive certification once they have returned and successfully completed the 4-hour field exam.

Students MUST have a Building Science Principles (BSP) certificate after taking an online, open-book training directly from BPI
