BPI Building Analyst Professional (BA-P)

Training Location: NYSWDA Training Center (Building 1) – 5869 Fisher Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057

Course Description:

This five-day course will teach students how to implement the “whole house performance-based approach to building diagnostics” skills that they acquired with their prior certifications and prerequisites: Building Science Principles and Building Analyst – Technician; and will expand on the concepts through an immersive classroom training.

Upon course completion, the students will take an online exam to prove their competency in the necessary knowledge to become Building Analyst-Professional.  There is no field exam requirement for BA-P certification, students will receive certification once they have successfully completed the online written exam given on the last day of the class.

Course covers the dates of February 5-9, 2024

Start Time: Monday-Friday 9:00am
End Time: Monday-Thursday 5:00pm / Friday test starts after a class review with 2 1/2 hours to complete    

Prerequisites:
Students MUST have an active Building Analyst Technician (BA-T) certificate in order to take this class.  The BPI system will not allow us to access the online test without it.
